Privacy Policy

Olde Town Hall Restaurant & Pub, at 140 S Palmer St, Ridgeway, SC 29130, runs this website. This policy explains the small amount of personal information the site handles and what happens to it.

What we collect

The only personal information this site collects is what you type into one of its two forms. Our contact form asks for:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number, if you choose to give it
  • Your message

The “Specials & news” box at the bottom of each page asks only for your email address.

How it is handled

  • When you press send, your message is delivered by email to the restaurant through Resend, an email delivery service.
  • If you sign up for specials and news, your email address is sent to the restaurant the same way, so we can write to you about specials. If you would rather not hear from us, reply and say so, or call us, and we will stop.
  • Your message is not saved in a database on this website. It lives only in the restaurant’s inbox, where we read it and reply.
  • We use your details only to answer your message. We do not sell them, rent them or add you to a mailing list you did not ask to join.

Nothing else

There are no accounts, logins or online payments on this site, and we collect no other personal data. Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages may briefly record routine technical details, such as an IP address, to keep the site running securely.

Your choices

If you would like us to delete a message you sent, or to tell you what we hold, call us at (803) 337-0389 and we will take care of it.

Cookie Notice

Cookies are small files a website can leave in your browser. This site keeps them to a minimum.

  • We do not currently use tracking cookies, analytics cookies or advertising cookies.
  • The site uses only what is strictly necessary for it to load and work correctly, such as remembering a choice you make on our cookie notice.
  • The map on our Visit page comes from a third-party map provider, which may set its own cookies when the map loads. Those are covered by that provider’s own policy.

If we ever add analytics or similar tools, we will update this notice first and ask for your consent before any non-essential cookies are set.

Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to look up our hours, read the menu and get in touch. This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, which builds on and includes WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

What we have done

  • Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible outline showing where you are.
  • Text and buttons are set in high-contrast whitewash on dark backgrounds.
  • Photos carry text descriptions for screen readers.
  • Pages stay readable when you zoom in to 200%.
  • Animation is reduced or switched off when your device asks for reduced motion.

Known limits

Our downloadable PDF menu may not read cleanly with every screen reader. Call us and we will happily go through the menu with you over the phone.
